It’s the end of another year and always fun to tot up the miles and reflect on our cycling summaries. This is a neat way to do just that with your Strava stats.
Your Strava stats 2015 infographic
This is so easy to generate, and looks great!
Just head over to VeloViewer, make sure it’s grabbed all of your up to date rides and then click the link for the 2015 graphic, which is quite prominent near the top. If you click in to your summary page, you’ll also see the 2015 infographic as a new tab.
Here’s my 2015 Veloviewer infographic. I think Ben did a great job on designing and creating this. Are there no ends to his talents?
Visit Veloviewer now.The hardest part is the emotional reaction to realising that you didn’t do half as much riding as you wanted. Oh well, there’s always next year…
I did fewer miles in 2015 than in the previous three years so perhaps it’s time to think about setting a target for 2016. Or maybe just getting out on the bike a bit more!
Did you know that you’re more likely to succeed with your goals if you state them publicly?
So go ahead, what are your goals for next year? Tell us in the comments below.
Veloviewer is one of my goto sites. Love the graphic and I sent a message to Ben to let him know.
13,469k for me this year with 134,569 m climbing. Must go out tomorrow to round that all up.
Would be happy with the same next year, albeit with more climbing as that means more holidays. ????
Totally agree Tim, I’ve been a big fan of Ben’s work right from its humble beginnings, when it was briefly called Stravaviewer.

Down from 3,274 in 2014, practically nothing after RideLondon- aim for 2015 is 5k km
Happy new year Alan & all!
Thanks Chris, good luck with your riding in 2016. It’s all good.
A 59 hour ride? Loving the info graphics though. Great work from both of you this year.
Thanks Rob. Assuming I must have forgotten to reset the Garmin once, hence the long ride! Oops.
10500km so far this year. First ever 21 minute 10 mile and 54 minute 25 mile TT’s and had the second quickest ascent time of Angliru this year but not many people attempt it, can’t imagine why?
A 20 for a 10 would be nice.
Curious on the 59.3hr bike ride? I have seen similar on Strava group for Leader boards, but assumed it must be a glitch of some sort.
All numbers are great though – helping us achieve more – and smarter.
Cheers, David
I can only assume that I forgot to reset my Garmin after a ride, so the next ride two days later was part of the original file. Surprised I didn’t notice when I uploaded it. The average speed would have been rather slow!
7,000k in 2015 which is a bit more than 2014. So I am satisfied and would be happy with the same or just a few more km in 2016. Anyway, we are off to Majorca in May 2016 and will enjoy a week of cycling in the mountains with friends who are also avid cyclists. Cannot wait! Happy new year!
That sounds wonderful. I’ve always fancied that but so far I’ve never done it. Maybe some day…
Congrats Alan! Very glad you didn’t actually get to Conakry……not the most healthy place in 2015.
However, we did manage 12 weeks’ cycling outside UK, in seven European countries – highly recommended.
Best wishes to you for 2016.
Thanks for the info . Keep it coming . 8500K for me this year with a six week layoff due to broken collar bone
Al
Thanks for all the really useful information you have provided. I am a rather tubby 64 year old and I am in awe of the mileage that you and some of your other followers rack up during the year. I have a simple resolution for the new year; ‘ Ride more ‘.
Hi Mark,
Let’s hope the weather is kind to us, it certainly has a massive impact on how likely we are to get out on the bike. (or how long we stay out once we’re out there)
Have a great 2016!
This is great i did 1009 miles against an initial target of 450 miles (only been cycling 2.5 years and really enjoying it. Loved the info graphic. If i achieve what i did last year i will be happy manly due to other pressures such as kids activities and work as well but overall pleased.
This is a great tool. I uploaded my graphic to Facebook and then paid for the Pro version. It made me set new goals for 2016: 300 days, 3,000 miles. We’ll see!
Erik, that’s a great commitment, go for it! And well done for supporting Ben by going Pro. He fully deserves the support, and in my view doesn’t charge enough!
