Here’s another tool that does cool stuff with your Strava ride data.
Mesmeride lets you import specific activities from Strava, then produces a neat elevation profile of the entire ride, complete with labelled segments.
This should particularly appeal to event organisers who wish to produce information about their event route in an engaging and informative way. It’s kinda what people expect these days!
The site is in BETA at present, and is being developed by Marc Durdin.
I found the site a little confusing at first, because I was expecting a mass import function, similar to Veloviewer. But like I said, it is in a beta stage and Marc acknowledges the instructions need to be a little clearer.
Here’s a few tips :
After you’ve authorised the site to link to your Strava data, click on the import rides link.
On the next screen, enter the activity ID of the ride you want to profile.
Note: just enter the actual number, not the whole URL!
You can find this in your address bar when you’re looking at the ride in Strava. It’ll be something like Strava.com/activities/123456789
The profile should load up, and present you with various tweaking options. You can even export the image back out, for use elsewhere.
The site is brand new, so check it out! You heard it here first.

@StravaTips thanks for great review :) oh, and I’ve fixed up the Import Ride page too — lists recent activities and can paste URLs too.

Seems like this site is no longer working. Have you any alternatives?
I just tried it and it worked for me.
This seems to be no more. Even their Facebook page is gone. *sad panda*
