What an exciting occasion, having the Tour of Britain go through your home town!
Denbigh responded favourably and turned out in good numbers. Most of Vale St was lined several rows deep, particularly the upper half. School children waved their wavey things and made cheery noises, more impressed by all the police motorbikes and their flashing lights and sirens than a few blokes on bikes. (At least my 7 year old seemed to indicate this was the case).
Here are my photographs – enjoy!
