If you use Strava, you may also used one of the many 3rd party Strava add-on sites that tap into the Strava API to do clever things. If so, you’ll want to bookmark this new resource!
Strava API sites aplenty
Strava has been pretty open since the very early days in terms of making data accessible to developers, and for many years now the number of 3rd party apps and sites that use Strava data has been growing.
One of my popular posts from a few years ago was a list of these third party sites, which included the embryonic StravaViewer, later to evolve into the mighty Veloviewer.
An updated list of Strava sites
I thought it was time for a more dynamic approach to keeping an up to date list.
The new page allows anyone to submit new sites to the database too, for me to approve.
Finally, I’ve added a reviewing system so that people can write brief reviews and provide a star rating for each service.
This will allow me to add filters to the front end search, so you’ll be able to filter on “most popular” etc.
Visit the Ultimate Strava Sites page now.
Here’s a brief video showing you what the page looks like.
Have an idea for how to improve the listings?
Let me know in the comments below, I’d love to hear from you.
