Visit TrailforksSyncing your rides to Trailforks helps us generate trail usage statistics for the trails you ride, which the local trail association can use for advocacy and planning.

Strava is an addition to Trailforks, not vice versa
It's wrong to see Trailforks as an addition to Strava. TF is a standalone site focusing on MTB trails (while Strava is neglecting this kind of biking). This is where trails are, who maintains them (if they are maintained, donations possible), reports on condition (dry, wet,...) and status (OK, minor, major issues,...). Movies and pictures are added, so MTB'ers can have a good view on the trails they are planning to ride, even with a nice ride planner that generates a GPX or even synchronizes with a Garmin GPS.
The only thing Strava is used for, is to synchronize rides. This can also work the other way: you can record a ride with the Trailforks app and synchronize it with Strava.
Trailforks is for mountainbiking an essential tool and is community based, so the more users, the more accurate all the info.
